SBC86836, Intel® Atom™ Mini ITX SBC

An industrial-grade Mini ITX motherboard built with ultra low power 45nm Intel® Atom™ processor N270 at 1.6GHz and the Mobile Intel® 945GSE Express chipset. Its small footprint of only 170 x 170 mm and remarkably low power consumption enables system developers to design extremely slim embedded applications such as in-vehicle infotainment, POS, lottery machine, and kiosk.

The super compact Intel® Atom™ processor N270 with a 533MHz FSB and the highly-integrated Intel® 945GSE Express chipset offer excellent computing performance at remarkably low power consumption. With Intel® GMA 950, the SBC86836 features outstanding 3D performance with a maximum video memory of up to 224MB by sharing the system memory. Additionally, displays can be connected via the onboard CRT (2048 x 1536) and dual LVDS with single/dual channel (1600 x 1200). One DIMM socket supports up to 2 GB DDR2 400/533 SDRAM for high memory bandwidth.

The chipset consists of Intel® 82945GSE Graphic Memory Controller Hub (GMCH) and Intel® I/O Controller Hub 7-M (Intel® ICH7-M), which supports flexible I/O connectivity including one PCI slot for 2 Bus master 32-bit expansion, two SATA-150 interfaces, six powered COM ports (1 x RS-232/422/485 & 5 x RS-232), eight Hi-speed USB 2.0 ports, and dual Gigabit LAN controllers. In addition, one CompactFlash Type II socket is available.
