The FW8600 is the only truly rugged, expandable, all-in-one portable computer system anywhere today. With three full-length PCI slots (or six half-length), the FW8600 is designed from the chassis up for intense rugged use. Built to military standards for shock, vibration, water and temperature, the FW8600 provides the reliability and dependability demanded by field professionals.

Active cooling technology allows for operation in wide temperature ranges, and unique design adds protection against dust, rain, and humidity. An all-in-one design, with an integrated handle and fully integrated components and power supply, allows the FW8600 to close and carry like a briefcase. The lightweight all-magnesium chassis and small-footprint form factor make the FW8600 ideal for field-deployed professionals.
