NEXCOM introduces the new most cost-effective hand-held 8.4" Fan-less Mobile Rugged/ Tablet Computer based on Intel® Atom™ Processors

The new MRC 2000 is a cost-effective 8.4" fan-less Mobile Tablet/ Rugged Computer which is based on the energy efficient Intel® Atom™ CPU. For warehouse and retail applications, the MRC 2000 can be equipped with an (optional) built-in laser barcode reader/ RFID module enabling users to more efficiently track consignments/ inventory. The MRC 2000 is ideal for mounting onto forklift trucks; meanwhile, its rugged, IP54 rated design allows the MRC 2000 to withstand a vertical drop of up to 4 feet (120 cm). Other features of the MRC 2000 include a long lasting battery life that can provide uninterrupted use for 4~8 hours, fingerprint recognition and an built-in camera.

Designed as entry-level alternative to NEXCOM's popular MRC 2100 Tablet-PC/ Mobile Rugged Computing , the new MRC 2000 is the ideal solution for applications within asset management, building automation, quality control, data collection and warehouse management. The centerpiece for all MRC models is Intel's smallest processor (at press time) with ultra-low power consumption Intel® Atom, coupled with the Intel® controller chipset US15W.

MRC 2000 is the most cost-effective product in the MRC series, with several optional features the MRC 2000 gives users the flexibility to meet most project requirements.
