ROBO-8820VG2

Featuring support for up to two independent PCI/PCI-X buses, and the Intel® E7501 chipset, ROBO-8820VG2H, Portwell's world leading PICMG 1.2 SHB, is capable to connect up to three PCI/PCI-X Controller Hub devices, with each device providing an I/O bandwidth over 1.066 GB/s for a total of 3.2 GB/s of I/O bandwidth. Combining Portwell's patent pending architecture of PBP-14PD64 and PA-B1 with ROBO-8820VG2H, the second Controller Hub in the platform is introduced to increase the total bandwidth of expansion buses on the backplane as twice of that of 64-bit/133MHz PCI-X buses. The total bandwidth then quadruples that of using traditional PICMG 1.0 64-bit/66 MHz PCI backplane.
