DFI today announced the introduction of the G7B630-NR motherboard supporting Intel ® Core™2 Quad processors. This high-performance ATX form factor board utilizes the Intel® Q965 Express chipset with ICH8DO Southbridge, and is designed specifically for embedded applications requiring a stable revision-controlled platform. The LGA775 socket supports a wide range of Intel® Embedded Architecture processors, including the Intel® Core™2 Quad, Intel® Core™2 Duo and Intel® Celeron® D processors.
The G7B630-NR incorporates RAID 0, 1, 5 & 10 disk configuration support using Intel® Matrix Storage Technology. Full management and status reporting of the RAID array storage devices is performed using Intel® Matrix Storage Manager utility software. Through incorporation of Intel® Matrix Storage Manager technology , and the Intel® Q965/ICH8DO Express chipset, high-performance disk storage requirements are cost-effectively addressed.
Optimized for the Intel® Core™2 Quad processor, the G7B630-NR motherboard retains full compatibility with Intel® Core™2 Duo, Intel® Pentium® 4 and Intel® Celeron® D processor . Maximum performance is leveraged with up to 8GB DDR2 533/667/800MHz dual-channel (128-bit wide) memory, dual PCI-Express Gigabit Ethernet controllers and onboard Intel® GMA 3000 graphics. In addition, the G7B630-NR adopts six Serial ATA ports with speed up to 3Gb/s, 10 USB 2.0/1.1 ports, and two IEEE 1394 interface support. A full compliment of expansion slots includes 1 PCI Express x16 slot, 2 PCI Express x1 slots, and 4 PCI slots.
