The Kontron OM9060 Media platform is an ideal entry point for media processing applications
built on ATCA technology. With ATCA providing the highest density of computing and the most compact designs at minimum floor space and power consumption, the Kontron OM9060 Media platform is targeted at applications with high processing and availability demands of IP-based media. This Media platform configuration contains two ATCA processor blades, two processor AMC modules as main controllers, and two ATCA carriers with one processor AMC and one DSP AMC each.

This configuration enables additional AMCs to be added, such as 10 GbE uplinks and DSP or TDM interfaces. The OM9060 Media is available with Linux 2.6 and is fully pre-integrated and pre-tested.
