The OM6062 is a cost optimized AMC platform dedicated but not limited) for industrial automation and medical applications. It supports any standard compliant AMCs, but in comparison to conventional MicroTCA implementations achieves significant cost improvements by a simplified design.
Among the simplifications are: the mechanical concept (no redundancy, cube design facilitates cooling), pluggable Power Supply Units instead of MicroTCA Power Modules, Power Management and Fan Control on the backplane. The Double-width form factor provides more PCB and front panel space
