The APC-9172 is the first Intel® Core™2 Duo embedded board in the AAEON Panel PC product line. It features a PGA478 socket that can accommodate a Core™2 Duo Processor, supporting FSB up to 400/533/667MHz.

The APC-9172 supports non-ECC DDRII SODIMM up to 2GB. Its powerful computing engine and large LCD make the APC-9172 a unique and pioneer design. It drives the market trend of Panel PC products. The APC-9172 integrates 17" color TFT LCD, Digital I/O, Audio and two gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 connectors. In addition, it also deploys 5 USB 2.0, 1 Mini-PCI, and two PCI slots including one PCI and one PCI-Express. For more flexible expansions, the APC-9172 equips one 8 in 1 card reader with USB interface, CompactFlash, secure digital, multi media card, memory stick (PRO) and Smart media functions.
