CompactPCI, and PICMG 2.16, Open Standards SBC utilizes 45nm Intel® Core™2 Duo processor.

The PP 512/06x uses the latest 45nm mobile dual core processor from the Intel® embedded roadmap, the 2.53 GHz Intel® Core™2 Duo T9400 processor, giving an even greater improvement in measured performance/watt.

Utilizing the GM45 chipset the PP 512/06x can access up to 8 Gbytes DDR3-1066 SDRAM at up to 16 Gbytes/s. The Gigabit Ethernet packet switched serial standard - PICMG 2.16 - is optionally supported to provide fast data transfer between other compatible boards in the system.

The PP 512/06x supports dual PMC/XMC, three Gigabit Ethernet, four SATA300, four USB2.0 and two RS-2332 interfaces.

This combination of high performance data processing and a wealth of I/O ensure that the boards are ideal for intensive data processing applications within the telecommunications, defense, security, telemetry, scientific and aerospace markets.
