Mintaka is a low-cost yet fully-featured, production-ready reference platform based on Intel® IXP2350 network processor. Mintaka extands the fully programmable Intel® IXA architecture to new, lower cost and high performance points for security, access and edge applications ,including IDS, firewall, access devices, routers and wireless infrastructure systems. Combined with Flexcomm's experiences and expertise in hardware and software design with Intel® IXP serials network processors, Mintaka enables OEMs to get custom products to market faster, at lower cost, and with less development risk.
