cPCI 1GbE Bladed Compute System

Compute capacity for session management will ramp up over a number of years as user adoption of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and Next Generation Network (NGN) services expands. The bladed approach of the compute system provides significant benefits and enables a "pay as you grow" strategy, thereby minimizing up-front investment and risk.

The cPCI bladed compute system provides a very high capacity computing solution with up to 38 Core 2 Duo dual core compute nodes, each of which is supported by its own local memory and I/O to maximize performance. Beyond exceptional computing resources, the shelf can also provide over 1.5 Terabytes of storage and a wide range of signaling line cards.

Configurable to suit specific deployment requirements, the cPCI bladed compute system is delivered as a fully integrated and tested unit. The platform can be packaged with a range of Trillium protocol software, including SIP, Diameter, SIGTRAN, and MEGACO / H.248. Professional Services and training are also available to accelerate deployment, support internal development teams, and reduce time to market.
