The PL-01041 is a 2U rack-mount type network security hardware platform for VPN, network bandwidth control, firewall, IDS, and other network and security applications. It supports Intel® Dual Xeon® processor coupled with server core logic Intel® E7520. The device provides reliable and advanced performance with strong computing power for complex networking protocol environments. The onboard system memory can be up to 16GB. It features CompactFlash for embedded OS. Two removable 3.5" SATA hard drives with space reserved for different storage purposes. The PL-01041 features 8 GbE Ethernet LAN ports with bypass function on four ports. Each Ethernet interface has LED indicators for activity and network transfer rate. The PL-01041 is a high end network security hardware platform designed for advanced CPU computing.
