The MICROSPACE® MS855xx is a single board computer in PC/104-Plus standard form factor with 96mm x 90mm (WxL). It is based on the smartModule855-xxx with Intel® Celeron® M or Intel® Pentium® M processor type 300 to 745. It uses the Intel® 855GME chip set with 400MHz FSB and Intel® ICH4. As main memory up to 1GB of DDR RAM SODIMM-200 are available. The PC/104-Plus board provides all standard PC interfaces such as COM1, COM2, LPT, a floppy and two P-ATA interfaces as well as ports for mouse and keyboard. In addition, there are six USB 2.0 ports, an AC97 V2.3 5.1 sound system with six input and two output channels, a 100/10Base-T Ethernet LAN port, and a watchdog. The board uses the Intel® Extreme Graphic video controller with 64MB VRMA UMA for VGA-CRT and DVO/LVDS. The board supports EEPROM setup. In the version B/B2 a PCI to ISA bridge is onboard and provides full ISA bus support, whereas the standard version uses an LPC to ISA bridge. Power consumption (12W to 25W), cooling method, ambient working temperature and performance are directly dependent on the used smartModule855-xxxx. Further options are: PC/104-plus PCI bus, a CompactFlash socket and a cable kit. The board comes without smartModule855, without DDR-RAM, and without cooler.
