AdvancedTCA Dual Intel Dual-Core Xeon with 2 AdvancedMC slots and up to 16GB of DRAM
The new Kontron AT8020 features two Dual-Core Intel® Xeon® processors and support for two AdvancedMC modules. The result is an open modular processing platform that will increase the number of deployments of AdvancedTCA solutions at the heart of every compute intensive mobile-IMS network element - from the transcoding of live multimedia mobile content on a Multimedia Resource Function Processor (MRFP) to concurrent processing of subscriber data on Home Subscriber Locator (HLR) systems.
The Kontron AT8020 Single Board Computer is ideal for customers who need maximum I/O performance, expanded memory capacities and high availability.

For additional connectivity, the AT8020 is available with the RTM8020, a single slot (6HP) AdvancedTCA rear transition module. The RTM8020 features one serial port, two 3Gbit/s SAS links, and integrates an onboard SAS drive for either additional functionality or extended customization by saving an AdvancedMC slot on the processing blade for other IO or processing modules.
