ETXexpress®-CD with Intel® Core2 Duo Processor T7400(2.16 GHz, FSB 667MHz, 2MB L2)- available Q2/2007

Kontron ETXexpress computer-on-modules are 100 percent compliant with the new COM Express open standard controlled by PICMG. The Kontron ETXexpress-CD module is based on the Intel® Core Duo processor and Intel® Core Solo processor as well as the Intel® 945GM Express chipset.

Because the PCI-Express interface represents the primary data path for upcoming x86 based systems it is essential to have COM products built around it. Non PCI-Express components such as PCI plug-in cards can still be supported with the PCI 2.1 32 Bit interface on-board Kontron ETXexpress COMs (COM Express, Pin-out Type 2), enabling continued support for legacy applications. The Kontron ETXexpress-CD will support 3 PCI Express x1 lanes (opt. 5 PCI Express x1 Lanes) and PEG (PCI Express Graphic) x16 lanes.
