RadiSys' Microware OS-9 for X86 and Intel® Pentium® Processors is a complete software solution designed for OEMs who are developing embedded and real-time applications running on x86/Pentium® processors. It provides a pre-integrated, Windows-hosted development environment based on Borland® CodeWright® 7.0. OS-9 features extensive I/O, storage, TCP/IP, networking, graphics and audio and a power management subsystem. OS-9 also features a NetBSD-compliant IPv4 network stack, a networking framework for easy protocol integration, and a socket-based API with TCP/UDP/IP functionality. The system product also features board support packages for Intel® architecture platforms from Intel® and RadiSys.
Microware OS-9 for X86/Pentium® is ideal for use in a variety of embedded applications including industrial control and factory automation, interactive point of sale kiosks and T&M.
