NEXCOM NISE 1000 series is a Fan-less industrial computing system designed specifically to address applications within Automatic Fare Collection such as access control and ticketing. Therefore, NISE 1000 will find applications within public transportation especially within Metros/Underground, railways, parking systems and airports. For instance, all entrance/access control barrier systems and ATM can be driven by the NISE 1000 series.

The fan-less design of NISE 1000 series provides a reliable interface for communication. With a wide range of CPUs supported from Intel® Celeron® M 600 MHz to Intel® Pentium® M 1.8GHz, NISE 1000 series can meet the requirements of most applications. The single board design of NISE 1000 series provides rich interfaces like 14 x COM ports (in NISE1020) and 48-Ch digital I/O (in NISE 1000) without add-on card, thus giving significant cost advantages. The On-board NVRAM socket supports data protection even in the absence of power, and has a capacity ranging from 128KB to 512KB. This ensures that the last transaction record will always be stored.
