Arcom is a leading supplier of embedded computer and communications technology to industry.

Founded in 1982, Arcom has developed a broad range of standard embedded hardware and software solutions for use in communications, control and data acquisition systems. Arcom manufactures both standard and custom platforms using innovative embedded PC technology to create and application ready platform. These are combined with the leading embedded operating systems (including Windows CE .NET, XP Embedded, Vista, Linux, VxWorks, and real-time Linux) to create easy-to-use development kits for rapid application development.

Arcom platforms can also be combined with a selection of PCI, PCI +, PCI Express or PC/104 industrial I/O boards to create complete control or data acquisition systems. These products are used in a wide variety of industries which require high integrity electronic control including, industrial printing systems, lottery machines, medical instrumentation, ticketing terminals and semiconductor manufacturing machinery. Arcom uses these platforms to produce a line of industrial network gateways to provide secure connections from legacy SCADA systems to âmiddleware' and enterprise applications. These system solutions are used extensively in oil & gas pipeline control, building management and asset monitoring for gaming venues.

From its design centers in Kansas City and Cambridge, England, Arcom also offers a complete design and build service to meet the needs of high volume OEM customers. Arcom is a member of the Eurotech Group.
